Actress Aindrila Sharma’s condition remains critical; continues to be on ventilator


Actress Aindrila Sharma is still in a critical condition today (November 17). The actress is on completely on ventilator support. Aindrila is being kept under strict medical observation. Doctors are suspecting that an infection is causing the new complicacies. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old actress, who defeated cancer twice and came back to her favourite place, that is the shooting set a few months back, is putting up a tough fight against all odds.

Fans and her industry colleagues are extremely worried about her health. Last night, beau Sabyasachi Chowdhury had to take to his social media handle to rubbish the rumours floating regarding Aindrila’s health. In a heart-wrenching post, he urged everyone to stop spreading rumours.

Yesterday (November 16), Aindrila’s condition deteriorated after a sudden cardiac arrest. After this, she has been kept on ventilator. According to the hospital, a blood clot can be observed in her brain. Earlier on November 1, she suffered a brain stroke which caused a massive intracranial haemorrhage. Aindrila was shifted to OT immediately and underwent left frontotemporoparietal decompressive craniotomy with evacuation of acute subdural bleed. The recent reports suggest, there is a sign of blood clot on the other side of the brain.

Aindrila is a familiar face to Bengali audience. After stepping into showbiz with TV show ‘Jhumur’, she did a number of popular daily soaps including ‘Jiyon Kathi’, ‘Jibon Jyoti’ and others. She forayed into digital medium too and did web series ‘Bhagar’ recently which also starred beau Sabyasachi.
