EXO Chen Comeback: Chen is resuming his career! Chen, the boy band EXO member with the honey-voiced primary vocal, will be making his musical comeback with a new album. The soloist’s third mini album, named “Last Scene,” will be published on October 31 at 6 p.m. KST, as was revealed on October 11 (2:30 pm IST). On September 26, band member Xiumin released his first solo album, “Brand New.”
The news was accompanied by a teaser image for the album, in which a picture of a field could be seen. The caricature style appears to be in keeping with Chen’s customary soothing and calming musical taste. It also showed a novel viewpoint with a horizon in the distance.
On April 1, Chen released his first solo album, ‘April, and a Flower,’ which featured six songs, including the title track ‘Beautiful Goodbye. There are six tracks on Chen’s second mini-album, “Dear My Dear,” including the title track, “Shall We?” The EXO member and the group’s initial sub-unit, EXO-CBX, have both made significant vocal contributions in the past. He has performed for numerous well-known shows, including “Everytime” for “Descendants of the Sun,” “For You” for “Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo,” and “Make It Count” for “Touch Your Heart,” among others. He has since established himself as a sought-after OST singer for K-dramas.
After three years following the release of “April, and a Flower” in April 2019, Chen has now released an album. It is also his first musical release since ‘Hello’ in October 2020, about two years ago. Since then, he has also provided his voice for the “Doctor Lawyer” OST “An Unfamiliar Day.” After being released from his required military service earlier this year, it will mark his comeback.
