Har Har Mahadev is an upcoming Marathi film which is written as well as directed by Marathi actor-writer-director Abhijeet Shirish Deshpande, who is known for his work in movies like Breathe, Aani…Dr Kashinath Ghanekar, as well as Disney+Hotstar’ s Criminal Justice Season 1.

It is the first multilingual Marathi film which will be released in five languages- Marathi, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada. The film is based on the brave son of motherland India and the founder of the Maratha Empire- Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

Har Har Mahadev is first Pan India Film but the Box Office battle is crucial as films like Ram Setu, Thank God, Sardar, Prince and others also booked October 25 slot. It has become the first Marathi film that will be released in multiple Indian languages including Marathi and dubbed Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil.

The film stars popular Marathi actor and filmmaker Subodh Bhave in the lead role as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. After impressing the audience with his stupendous performance in Subhash Ghai’s Marathi sports drama film Vijeta, the actor is all set to show his action prowess in this historic drama film.

The highly anticipated film is bankrolled by Zee Studios in association with Shree Ganesh Marketing and Films banner. Sunil Phadtare is the co-producer of the film.

On September 3, 2022, the lead actor Subodh Bhave shared the first ever pictures of him in the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj avatar, which left the internet impressed as well as the audience wondering.

Now another poster has also been released by the makers featuring the lead actor in a side pose as the great warrior donning the Marathi Royal Pagadi, which the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj used to wear.

About the Film

The film will cover all the major events related to the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj including his fights against the Mughal Empire, the Sultanate of Golkonda, Sultanate of Bijapur, European Colonial powers. It will bring an interesting tale of bravery, sacrifice, friendship and an undying grit to attain Swarajya (Self-rule).
