To record a drop in earnings

Prince opened to negative reviews from critics and got mixed responses from the audience. Now going by the advanced trends, it will record a drop in the collections on its second day which is rare in the case of a Friday release.

Prince clocked in 2.33 Cr from the advance ticket bookings for the second day which is around 10% less than its first-day bookings collections. It seems that negative word of mouth has come into play.

Box Office Collection day 2

As per the early estimations, Prince will collect the 3.8-4 Cr range on day 2 to take the total collections of Prince in the vicinity of 9 crores, domestically. The total business of Prince has valued at Rs 30 crores in Tamil Nadu and a drop on its second day is not a good sign for the flick’s future.

The first weekend is very crucial for a film’s success at the box office and to emerge as a profitable venture for the distributors. Thereby a drop on the second day is very worrying. It needs to pick up very well on Sunday to take the first weekend total over 15 crores.
