Sardar Box Office Collection Day 2 (Early Trends): To show 20% growth in earnings

latest spy-action Tamil film Sardar starring Karthi received critical acclaim and took a decent start at the box office. The film is getting rave reviews from whoever watched it, it is expected to grow exponentially due to word of mouth in the forthcoming days.

It marks the third movie for the actor this year, he is playing a dual role in the movie. It is directed and written by P.S. Mithran, Sardar marks the latter’s third directorial venture.

Advance Bookings Report Day 2

Sardar minted almost double from the advance ticket bookings for day 2 as compared to its first day. This shows that the audience’s positive reviews have started to translate into box office numbers.

It draws in 2.21 crores from the ticket sales, out of which 1.95Cr+ came in from Tamil and 25L+ came in from Telugu. It also touched the 1Lakh mark in terms of ticket sales for Saturday, on the first day it had sold only 78000 tickets from the bookings.

It looks like the buzz among the audience for Sardar is genuine and it will definitely witness growth in earnings over Sat and Sun. Going by the advanced trends, it will witness over 20% growth on the second day. As per the early estimations, Karthi’s film will collect in the range of 4.2-4.5 crores on Day 2. With this, the total collections of Sardar will reach over 8 crores, domestically.

All About Sardar

Along with Karthi, it has Raashii Khanna and Rajisha Vijayan in the key roles. Chunky Pandey is in his Tamil debut, other actors include Laila, Rithvik, Munsihkanth, Sahan Vasudevan, Ilavarasu, Yugi Sethu, Swaminathan and Vijay Varadharaj. Sardar is bankrolled by S.Lakhsman Kumar under the banner of Prince Pictures.

It marks the third movie of Karthi in 2022, after Viruman and PS-1, in addition to that he voices over in Vikram–2nd highest grossing Tamil movie ever–for the role Dilli.
