HYDERABAD: A 55-year-old man was taken into custody for allegedly outraging the modesty of a 9-year-old girl in Yacharam. Police said that the victim’s parents lodged a complaint on Wednesday. It was on Sunday the alleged offence took place. Both the accused and victim are neighbours. The victim informed that the accused called her and then sexually abused her. Police said that a case was registered against the accused for violation of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) Act. tnn
